***ADOPTED IN UK ***
RECOMMENDED: Duo adoption with Marley (only 1 adoption fee, 2nd dog fully sponsored by us!) Imagine: a warm summer evening on the couch, your new best friend snuggles right up against you and looks at you with her sweet, trusting eyes… that is Izzy. This medium-sized lady (estimated date of birth: October 2022), approximately 50–55 cm at the shoulder (can be measured exactly upon interest), was rescued from a public shelter/killing station and has had one big wish ever since: a cozy spot where she is truly welcome. Based on her physical characteristics, we suspect a special Chow Chow and Border Terrier cross, responsible for her dense, shaggy coat, bushy curly tail, and friendly head shape. Why Izzy has been waiting for a year and a half is unimaginable... That no one noticed Izzy yet is incomprehensible. Despite her irresistible teddy bear appearance, she has been waiting behind bars for a year and a half. Luckily, that can change quickly – with your love and attention, Izzy finally gets the spotlight she deserves! Why Izzy is so special Heartbreaking appearance: her golden-red, shaggy coat and fluffy curly tail make her just as photogenic as an Insta-celebrity.

RECOMMENDED: Duo adoption with Izzy (only 1 adoption fee, 2nd dog fully sponsored by us!) Read on and discover how you can change his world forever! ️ His story This handsome boy is named Marley, estimated age +/- 2 to 3 years, and he is one of those dogs that steals your heart without you even realizing it. He was rescued from a public shelter, where he seemed invisible among the others – but one look at his expressive face with that panda mask, and you know: this is no ordinary dog. Meanwhile, Marley has been waiting for over a year… A year full of good care in the shelter, but also a year of waiting. Of watching other dogs leave, while he stays behind every time. And yet, he keeps hoping. Because what he wants most of all is something simple: love, attention, to belong. Marley is a young male of medium size (approx. 45 cm at the shoulder and about 18 kg), with a short, sturdy body, a funny little meerkat, and an always gentle look in his eyes.

BRIANNA *** ADOPTED ***
What a lovely face! May we introduce you to Brianna, a 4-year-old female; she is a real sweetheart! A gentle and super intelligent, grateful and loyal small to medium-sized girl (+/- 15/20kg - +/- 45cm shoulder height) Sadly, she has spent almost her entire life in the shelter, it is terrible!
JULIA *** ADOPTED ***
Julia is the mother of the 5 flower girls. Mama Julia is a Jack Russell Terrier, estimated age +/- 1.5 years young. Julia was found by the rescuer, dumped in the field, trying to protect her 5 girls from the elements, keep them away from all danger, and keep them alive with the little milk she had (due to malnutrition). Fortunately, they were barely a few days old when the rescuer found them and were rescued in time. The rescuer asked for our financial help to support Julia and her offspring, and we agreed. By mid-July 2024, the girls will be 4 months old, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to spread their own wings. We are therefore looking for a loving forever home for each of the girls, including their mother. Mama Julia is a caring mother by nature, who clearly has never truly known love and has had to struggle to survive. She needs a home with people who are willing to give her the time to blossom, understand her, and want to build a bond with her step by step. Mama Julia is not a ready-made dog, but once she knows you, she opens up. She truly deserves to finally be allowed to start her life. If you are interested in Julia, please send a message for more information.

JONES *** ADOPTED ***
Jones was found along the side of the road together with his brother Jack. Sadly, their mother had passed away, clearly due to a collision. Their age is estimated to have been born around Sept/Oct 2024. Based on their physical characteristics, they could possibly be a Jack Russell Terrier mix. Currently, they are still smaller than some of the cats in the shelter; it is expected that once fully grown, they will reach the size of Jack Russell Terriers. The two little bundles of joy were staring ahead desperately, hungry, and sadly, not understanding what was happening to them. Fortunately, they were spotted by the rescuer, who took them in and placed them in a small private shelter. They are now cheerful, healthy pups looking forward to a loving home of their own. As is well known, Terriers are dogs that suit people who enjoy being active with their animals, taking nice walks, playing and romping in the garden, etc. They also enjoy playing with other dogs. They are ready to go their separate ways and make new friends. Are you interested in Jones? Then send a quick message for more info.

KRUIMELTJE (ALIAS "CRUMBY") *** ADOPTED ***
May we introduce you to this sweet little angel, Kruimeltje, also known as Crumby'ke. He is a dog with an estimated birth date of +/- May/June 2024, very small in size (+/- 25/30cm). The rescuer found him last summer (2024); he was a small puppy in distress. She saved him and placed him in her small private shelter. This handsome fellow has a very unique coat; a super beautiful dog. Crumby is small in stature, but thinks he is big :-) He is in a kennel with other dogs without any problems; he is friendly, but he does like to take the lead (in a friendly but consistent way, haha) when he is "in" to play. He is less talkative to dogs that are slightly larger than himself, haha. Based on his physical characteristics and temperament, we think he is possibly a Cairn Terrier mix. Cairn Terriers are very intelligent little dogs that need consistent leadership (even though they are so cute, haha). They are also energetic dogs that need plenty of exercise. They are ideal companions for people who enjoy being active, love walking, and doing fun things together with their dog. Kruimeltje instantly puts you in a good mood; his smiley face and cheerful little leaps are delightful to watch! A well-fenced garden to romp in with the owners and/or other dogs is also important for this type of dog. We hope that someone will soon open their heart and home to this little boy, so that he no longer has to endure the harsh winter cold in the shelter. If you are interested, please send a message quickly for more info. Link to Cairn Terrier description: https://www.nctc.nl/de-cairn-terrier/
